Applications for the 2017-18 Heritage Grants Program are now open
The Heritage Grants Program, run by the Heritage Council of Western Australia, is a well-established program offering $1.2 million in funding to private owners of State Registered heritage places.
The funding assists owners to actively manage and conserve their heritage properties, resulting in improved heritage outcomes for many State Registered places.
Grants of up to $100,000 are available through a competitive assessment process. Owners are required to match the funding received for their project.
In addition to financial assistance, many recipients of the Heritage Grants Program go on to receive recognition of their commitment to conservation via the annual Western Australian Heritage Awards and in local media.
The closing date for applications is 12pm Tuesday 31 October 2017. Successful applicants are expected to be announced early next year.
