Australia Day Combined Council Event 2016

On 26 January 2016, the Shire of Peppermint Grove will host the annual Australia Day celebrations on behalf of  the Town of Cottesloe, the Town of Mosman Park and the Shire of Peppermint Grove.

Celebrations include: the raising of the Australian flag; a Citizenship ceremony; and presentation of the Australia Day Awards, which recognise outstanding individuals or community groups in the categories of Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year and Community Group or Event of the Year. The morning is rounded off by a free community barbeque breakfast. Residents and their families from Cottesloe, Mosman Park and Peppermint Grove are welcome

Cottesloe Village Carnival

Cottesloe Village Carnival (formerly Hullabaloo Festival) is a PROCOTT run event with the support of the Town of Cottesloe. The 2015 event is on Saturday, 7th November, 10am - 5pm. The event is a street fair held on Napoleon and Station Streets, aimed to promote and celebrate our local Cottesloe community, and provide a family atmopshere for all to enjoy! Volunteers Sundowner

The Town of Cottesloe host the Volunteer's Sundowner annually  to recognise volunteers in the community. The event is held during National Volunteer's Week in May, at the War Memorial Town Hall, Cottesloe. Volunteers and community organisations are encouraged to keep their contact information current to ensure they receive a personal invitation to the event, by emailing the Community Development Officer at or by phone on  9285 5080.

The 2016 Volunteer's Sundowner is to be held on the evening of Wednesday, 11 May 2016.

ANZAC Day Event

The Town of Cottesloe host an ANZAC Day Commemorative Service every year to remember and honour the members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps who fought at Gallipoli in Turkey during World War 1, as well as more broadly commemorating all those who died or served in military operations for their countries. Carols by Candlelight

Sunday 20th December 2015 - 7pm -  BYO picnic to the Cottesloe Civic Centre Main Lawn at 6pm and enjoy the Christmas carols and entertainment while watching the sunset from the beautiful Cottesloe Civic Centre  - Parking available on Napier & Broome Streets..

Pioneers Day

The Town of Cottesloe host a Pioneers Day event every year to recognise the founders of Cottesloe. The event is held each year during Foundation Day week in June at Memorial Town Hall, Cottesloe.

Sculpture by the Sea

Sculpture by the Sea is an annual event at Cottesloe beach. The Town of Cottesloe helps facilitate the event at Cottesloe beach. For more information regarding the 2016 event please click the Heading.

Music for Pleasure

Music for Pleasure is a series of musical concerts that run through the winter months of July and August, on Sunday afternoons at the beautiful Civic Centre's War Memorial Town Hall in Cottesloe. Members of the public are invited come along and enjoy a selection of fantastic music, including but not limited to, choirs performing many different genres of music, to jazz and blues ensembles, and Classical Chamber Music. Ticket prices include the music and afternoon tea.

Interested Musicians - Musical groups and individuals who would like to perform at the 2016 Music for Pleasure Concert Series are now invited to submit an application to the Town of Cottesloe.
