Available during Surf Lifesaving patrol season | 1 October to 31 March
The Town offers both a Surf N Turf and TADWA Beach Trekker wheelchair free for loan by members of the public.
Wheelchair bookings are now confirmed instantly. Simply bring your email confirmation with you when you collect the wheelchair from the Lifeguard. Though it is recommended that you book in advance so that Lifeguards are aware prior, so they can better assist you with access.
Prior to booking, please read the important safety information and learn about the features of the wheelchairs in the information flyers, available below. Please note, the maximum safe weight of a person using the beach wheelchair is 120kgs. Users are responsible for their own safety. It is recommended that two carers to assist with access.
A beach wheelchair is also available for loan at North Cottesloe Surf Life Saving Club (NCSLSC), with a $300 bond applicable. Visit the NCSLSC website.
