Community Planting Day – Cottesloe : Perth NRM

Perth NRM, in partnership with the Town of Cottesloe and Cottesloe Coastcare Association, and sponsored by Coastwest, are pleased to host a community planting day at Vlamingh Parklands to celebrate National Tree Day 2019!

National Tree Day is a call to action for all Australians to put their hands in the earth and give back to their community. It’s a day to venture outdoors and get to know your community, and most importantly, to have fun! Planet Ark is asking Australians to help plant one million new native trees and shrubs across the country… join Perth NRM and your community on this perfect weekend family activity to help us do our part and plant 1000 local native species on the coast! Get the the kids out of the house and connected to nature, be a part of Australia’s largest community tree planting and nature protection event, and learn about some of the amazing flora and fauna which call this area home!

A free morning tea will also be provided as a big thank you for lending a hand!
