Or thought about the different items that can't go in any of your household bins, where to take them and what happens with them?! 🤷‍♀️♻️🤷‍♂️ Don't know? Not sure? Join us for a community tour of the West Metro Recycling Centre ♻️ in Shenton Park! Find out and see for yourself how a transfer station operates and the different drop-off community recycling services available for local residents 🧨. Time: 10am-12noon Wear: Fully enclosed footwear 👞, hat and sunscreen. Bring your own water bottle. Tour: Your tour involves walking around an active site outdoors 🌞. A reasonable level of fitness is required. Your tour will be followed by time for questions, a cuppa or coffee and light refreshments. Tickets: cost $5 + Eventbrite booking fee. Member council tickets are available to residents from Claremont, Cottesloe, Mosman Park, Peppermint Grove & Subiaco. General admission tickets are available for Cambridge and residents from other councils. If the ticket cost is a barrier to coming to this event please call on 9384 6711 and we are happy to assist.
