Richard Atkins has lived in Cottesloe since 2000 and has a history of contributing to the community. He has served on the boards of the Rottnest Channel Swim and North Cottesloe Primary School, as well as Silver Chain Nursing, Perthwaste and Geraldton Fishermans Co-operative. Richard is currently the Treasurer of the Cottesloe Tennis Club and a Director of Culford Agri Industry.
A qualified accountant with commercial experience and financial skills, Richard currently works for McRae Investments (the Clough family company). He has worked in a variety of industries, including waste, recycling, property, agriculture, retail, health and aged care.
Richard loves the relaxed, beach side feel of Cottesloe and brings a desire to enhance the suburb but always retain its fundamental character.
