Mudurup Rocks
Mudurup Rocks is a significant Noongar location within Cottesloe. The Whajuk Trail Network describe Mudurup Rocks as one of the places where ceremonies for Kuranup (Noongar Heaven) were held. In the spirit world the Wardang (Raven) followed the setting sun, taking the spirit of Noongar to its final resting place over the Wardun (Indian Ocean). Rottnest Island is believed to be the resting place of the Noongar Wirin (spirit).
