Local Government Elections took place on Saturday the 17th October 2009 at the Cottesloe Civic Centre.

Mayoral Candidate

Kevin Morgan - Elected Unopposed

 

Central Ward

Patricia Carmichael - Elected

(Ballot: - Patricia Carmichael: 266 votes. Thomas Carmody: 217 votes)

 

North Ward

Ian Woodhill - Elected Unopposed

Davina Goldthorpe - Elected Unopposed

 

East Ward

Rob Rowell - Elected Unopposed

 

South Ward

Jo Dawkin - Elected Unopposed

 

Nominations

 

At present the Town of Cottesloe has eleven (11) elected members, including a Mayor who is directly elected. It operates a ward based system of four (4) wards one of which (North Ward) has four elected members, and three of which (East, Central and South Wards) have two elected members each, with five (5) councillors in the Town retiring every two years.
