Seniors' Week

Seniors Week in 2024 will be running between Sunday November 10 to Sunday November 17, 2024. 

Seniors Week is a special time dedicated to celebrating and honouring the contributions and experiences of older individuals within our communities. This annual event provides an opportunity for communities to come together and show appreciation for the older generation, offering a range of activities such as social gatherings, workshops, health and wellness events, and cultural programs.

The Town of Cottesloe will be hosting events for our cherished seniors in the community. Keep an eye on our events calendar for more information. 

Seniors First Aid

The Town of Cottesloe offers senior residents an opportunity to refresh their first aid knowledge as part of Seniors Week. 

The first aid session is run by St John and the two hour information workshop covers:

  • CPR
  • DRS ABCD action plan
  • How and when to use a defibrillator
  • Heart conditions and signs of a heart attack
  • Bleeding
  • Recovery position

This is not an accredited course, and there will not be a certificate given for attendance.

Sessions for 2024 are to be determined.
