Mayor 

The Elected members determine the position of Mayor.

The role of the Mayor is to liaise with the Chief Executive Officer on the local government’s affairs and the performance of its functions.  

Councillors 

Council members (Councillors) are democratically elected to their positions.

Councillors represent the interests of electors, residents and ratepayers. They participate in local government decision-making at Council meetings and facilitate communication between the community and Council.
