About the Opportunity
The Town of Cottesloe is a values-driven organisation. We are seeking to appoint a capable person to join the Mowing team to maintain our beautiful surrounds.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy manual tasks, can take direction, and wants to contribute to the outcomes of a great team. The Team Member - Mowing will provide a high standard of mowing maintenance in designated parks and gardens and other prominent locations within the Town of Cottesloe.
Key duties under the direction of the Area Team Leader may include, but are not limited to;
- Whipper-snipping and mowing;
- Mulching, hedging and other general gardening duties;
- Litter control and miscellaneous tasks;
- Daily maintenance of machinery and small plants; and
- Reports any unsafe conditions or incidents that occur.

The ideal candidate will possess the qualifications, experience and personal attributes necessary to perform effectively in this role.
Essential
- Demonstrated experience in horticultural maintenance and/or general labouring activities;
- Well-developed initiative and problem-solving skills;
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for self and others;
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team; and
- High level of attention to detail.
Additional Requirements
- Current Australian Working Rights;
- Current (minimum) C Class License MR License (preferred)
- Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain); and
- Willingness to under-go a Pre-Employment Medical (as required).
