Adopt-a-Spot to keep Cottesloe litter free
The Town of Cottesloe has partnered with Keep Australia Beautiful WA (KAB WA) to support the Adopt-a-Spot anti-litter program.
You can make a difference by registering an Adopt-a-Spot site in beautiful Cottesloe to remove litter from our beaches, parks and roadsides which will help stop plastics and other rubbish from entering the ocean and affecting marine life.
Anyone can register and ‘adopt’ a site in Cottesloe including individuals, community groups, businesses and school communities. You can ‘adopt’ a site for a number of years or as a one off clean-up event.
Through this program you can use free resources such as gloves, tongs, rubbish bags and a sharps container (collected from the Town of Cottesloe administration office), insurance cover if required and you will also receive an Adoption Certificate to acknowledge your commitment.
