Recycle Bin

If you require any changes to your current bin service or you have a damaged bin, please refer to

All Cottesloe residents are provided with a 240L Recycle Bin with a yellow lid. It is a co-mingled service. This means that all five recyclable materials can be placed loosely (not in plastic bags) together in the bin.

Your Recycle Bin will be emptied FORTNIGHTLY. In effect, most residents will have only two bins out for collection every week. Please refer to the Town's Waste and Recycling Calendar for your bin servicing days.

What can be placed in the Recycle Bin?

All items should be clean, empty, with lids removed and placed loose in the bin. Please ensure the bin lid closes and the bin weighs less than 70 kgs.
