Shine Community Services

Shine Community Services receives funding from the Health Department through the Home and Community Care Program (HACC), and from the four Combined Councils of Cottesloe, Claremont, Mosman Park and Peppermint Grove. The program provides funding to support a wide range of basic maintenance services to assist people who need support to continue to live independently in their own homes.

Shine Community Care offer in home support, transport and activities, and carer support. 

Services include; domestic assistance, personal care, respite, a social club, shopping bus, transport, social support, podiatry, gardening, outings, and a range of social events.

Curtin Heritage

Located at 1 Gibney Street in Cottesloe, it is home to many seniors and is operated by Curtin Heritage Living, a leading provider of community services in Cottesloe.

Caring for the community for over 45 years, Curtin Heritage Living is a trusted provider servicing older community members of the Western Suburbs. Catering for the specific needs of every individual, their services include independent living, residential aged care, specialist care, in-home care and community outreach.

Westcoast Community Centre

The Westcoast Community Centre, a volunteer, not for profit organisation, has run programs of learning and leisure for the community since 1993, embodying the motto of "learning, creating, sharing knowledge & teaching".

The centre is a meeting place for members and non-members of the community to increase their knowledge and skills through a variety of activities, talks, exercise and visits to places of interest.

Returned Service League - Cottesloe Branch

Serving as the primary provider in Western Australia, RSLWA plays a vital role in offering support in wellbeing, welfare, advocacy, transition, and commemoration to current and former members of the Australian Defence Force and their families. Established in 1916, RSLWA mission to provide comradeship and support to veterans is ongoing, the RSL has a Cottesloe Sub-Branch which meets at the Cottesloe Civic Centre, in the RSL's own meeting room that boasts a beautiful jarrah setting. 

The RSL coordinates the annual ANZAC Day commemorations in partnership with the Town of Cottesloe.

Meals on Wheels

Cottesloe utilises the meals on wheels services from the City of Stirling, as do many other Western Suburb councils. They offer a nutritious meal, a friendly smile, and the knowledge someone will drop by to say hello.
