Launch of new software solutions to better serve the community

The Town of Cottesloe commenced a significant upgrade to its information technology solutions in early July with Datascape, a modern cloud-based software suite.

The rollout of the new software comes with many new features which are already enabling Town staff to deliver higher levels of customer service, and providing improved efficiency behind the scenes. We are seeing a quicker response time for the processing and actioning of Customer Service Requests and appreciate your feedback on this improvement.

Modules such as customer service requests, planning, building, finance, and property and rating will allow the Town to streamline internal operations and improve the way services are delivered to our residents, ratepayers, and all of our customers.

The transition period remains in place, with a small number of issues being resolved. Payments can now be made online, with the exception of infringements. We acknowledge this inconvenience and we are working hard to rectify this. These payments can be made in-person at the Civic Centre or over the phone.

Other payments can be made using the MyCottesloe online self-service portal available here. MyCottesloe enables our community to self-manage online payments, service requests, applications, reports and much more. The Town’s Customer Service team will continue to offer valuable in-person service for those who prefer face-to-face support, as well as over the phone assistance.

The launch of the new system has been a huge project for the Town of Cottesloe. We look forward to offering faster and more efficient services to our community following its implementation.
