Carols by Candlelight
Past Event
Join us on Saturday, 6 December for a magical evening of music and community spirit on the Cottesloe Civic Centre Main Lawn at the annual Carols by Candlelight.
Gates open at 5:30pm, with carols commencing at 6:45pm.
Bring along a picnic blanket and your favourite snacks, or treat yourself to something tasty from the food trucks on site.
Electric candles will be available for purchase from the Salvation Army - support a great cause and light up the night as the sun goes down!
This year Carols is a fully accessible and inclusive event, designed to ensure everyone feels welcome and able to participate. New accessibility options include hearing support through headsets compatible with implants and hearing aids, offering an enhanced listening experience. Haptic vests, which translate sound into gentle vibrations felt on the body, will also be available. Both headsets and vests are free to use and can be collected on the night (subject to availability) or pre-booked. To pre-book please contact Kirsty on epm@cottesloe.wa.gov.au.
This year’s event will also include a designated low-sensory zone proudly provided by mental health organisation The Magic Coat. This calm, quiet space will be available to anyone who needs it. An Auslan interpreter will be present on stage throughout the evening, and an Accessibility Officer will be available to assist with any support required. For assistance during the event, please call or text Anna on 0439 511 522.
We can’t wait to see you there!
