Local Planning Strategy

The Local Planning Strategy (LPS) was endorsed by the Western Australian Planning Commission in August 2026 in accordance with Regulation 15 of the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015. The endorsed Strategy replaces the Town’s previous Local Planning Strategy, adopted in January 2008.

A copy of the endorsed Strategy will be made available on the WAPC’s website in due course.

The LPS has been prepared in accordance with the Local Planning Strategy Guidelines and provides the strategic basis for the preparation and implementation of the Town of Cottesloe Local Planning Scheme No. 4 (LPS4).
