All rubbish and dry vegetation must be cleared by 30 November each year as accordance to the Bushfires Act 1954.

It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure that this is done.  Owners of any blocks of vacant land that are not cleared in accordance with the Act may incur a fine and be liable for the cost of clearing the block which incur a 20% administration fee for the clearing.

Under no circumstance is the burning off of any block permitted.
