Council Meetings
Council meetings at the Town provide a transparent and open forum where Councillors discuss local priorities, approve projects, and consider feedback from residents. Members of the community are most welcome to attend to stay informed about plans for the Town's parks, beaches and community services. Agendas and minutes are available on the Town's website, so you can see what’s being discussed and decided. We encourage you to come along or tune in online.
Agenda Forums
Agenda Forums provide the chance to hear about items coming up at the next Council meeting and ask questions in an informal setting. They’re designed to promote transparency and help residents understand the issues being considered before decisions are made. This is an opportunity to engage with Councillors, share your thoughts, and stay informed about projects and priorities that affect Cottesloe. Agendas and minutes for Agenda Forums are available on the Town’s website.
Annual Electors' Meeting
At the Annual Electors' Meeting you can hear about the Town's progress over the past year and plans for the future. The Annual Report will be presented, including financial statements and key achievements, and residents can ask questions or raise matters that are important to them. Agendas and minutes for the Annual Electors’ Meeting are available on the Town’s website, so you can review what’s discussed and keep up to date.
Public Participation
We warmly welcome public participation at Council meetings. These meetings are where key decisions are made about our community. You can get involved by asking a public question during question time or by making a deputation to contribute to a specific agenda item. Agendas and minutes are always available on the Town’s website so you can stay informed and prepared. Please keep in mind that the requirements of the Local Government (Meeting Procedures) Local Law 2021 apply to public participation at Council meetings.
*Deputations require application to the Chief Executive Officer prior to the meeting or community members can seek the approval of the presiding member at the meeting.
