Kirsty Barrett is an active and passionate member of the Cottesloe community and was recognised for her contribution when she was awarded Cottesloe Community Citizen of the year in 2019.

Kirsty has lived in Cottesloe with her husband for more than 20 years, where they have raised their family.  Since having children, Kirsty has dedicated significant time to serving the community through numerous groups and projects including North Cottesloe Primary School P&C President, School Board Member and Toy Library President. In these roles, Kirsty was instrumental in improving community facilities including securing a new toy library, childcare centre, community hall and nine new classrooms for North Cottesloe PS.  

Kirsty is a Chartered Accountant with extensive board and management experience and a sound understanding of good governance. Prior to starting a family, Kirsty was a Finance and Commercial Director of a global business group.
