West Metro Recycling Centre
The West Metro Recycling Centre is centrally located, on the corner of Brockway Road and Lemnos Street (enter off Brockway Road), Shenton Park. Visit the West Metro Recycling Centre to drop off a wide range of materials that cannot go in your kerbside bins for recycling or responsible disposal.

- Bulk polystyrene
- Cardboard
- Aerosols, gas cylinders, and smoke detectors
- E-waste including mobile phones and printer cartridges
- Batteries, household chemicals and paints
- Pre-loved sporting goods and clothing
- Scrap metal
- X-rays
Items for a small fee:
- Tyres
- Asbestos
- Mattresses
- Refrigerators, freezers and air-conditioners
- Bulk waste
- Green waste
