West Metro Recycling Centre

Your resident access pass gives you access to the West Metro Recycling Centre where you can drop off a wide range of materials that do not go in your kerbside bins for recycling or responsible disposal. If you do not have a resident access pass, you can show your drivers licence as proof of residence instead.

Free Services:

  • Bulk polystyrene
  • Cardboard
  • Aerosols, gas cylinders, and smoke detectors
  • E-waste including mobile phones and printer cartridges
  • Batteries, household chemicals and paints
  • Pre-loved sporting goods and clothing
  • Scrap metal
  • X-rays 

Items for a small fee:

  • Tyres
  • Asbestos
  • Mattresses
  • Refrigerators, freezers and air-conditioners
  • Bulk waste
  • Green waste

Monday to Friday: 7:30am to 4:00pm
Saturday & Sunday 8:00am to 4:00pm
Public Holidays 7:30am to 2:00pm
