West Metro Recycling Centre
The West Metro Recycling Centre is centrally located, on the corner of Brockway Road and Lemnos Street (enter off Brockway Road), Shenton Park. Your resident access pass gives you access to the West Metro Recycling Centre where you can drop off a wide range of materials that do not go in your kerbside bins for recycling or responsible disposal. If you do not have a resident access pass, you can show your driver's licence as proof of residence instead.

- Bulk polystyrene
- Cardboard
- Aerosols, gas cylinders, and smoke detectors
- E-waste including mobile phones and printer cartridges
- Batteries, household chemicals and paints
- Pre-loved sporting goods and clothing
- Scrap metal
- X-rays
Items for a small fee:
- Tyres
- Asbestos
- Mattresses
- Refrigerators, freezers and air-conditioners
- Bulk waste
- Green waste
