On 16 November 2025, the State Government announced new measures which it advises are intended to streamline planning and development in order to accelerate housing supply around Perth’s metropolitan train stations. These changes will affect the Cottesloe, Swanbourne and Mosman Park train stations, which will now be subject to Improvement Plans and Schemes.
