The Town of Cottesloe is developing a Public Health Plan and we’d love your input!

The Town of Cottesloe is developing a Public Health Plan that will provide a strategic framework for the health and wellbeing of the community, including all those that come to live, work and play in the Town. The plan will focus on improving the quality of life in our community by addressing how we live, the opportunities available to us, and how our community functions as a whole.

Health is connected to our daily lives. A Public Health Plan supports the development of a healthy community and empowers people to have healthy lifestyles, physical activity, and be socially engaged.

Actions in the plan will seek to protect, promote and improve the health and wellbeing of the community and aim to reduce preventable illness. The plan will recognise the actions the Town takes to improve health outcomes, as well as identify opportunities which aim to further improve the community’s health and wellbeing.

Our goal is to create a plan that truly reflects the needs and priorities of the people who live, work and visit Cottesloe. To do this, we’re seeking feedback from residents, visitors, and local organisations to understand what is currently being done to improve health and wellbeing in Cottesloe, and where there are opportunities to do more.

If you have a connection to Cottesloe, we encourage you to share your thoughts through our online surveys. The community survey is open to everyone. There’s also a survey for the businesses and organisations that play a role in promoting health and wellbeing in Cottesloe.

Your feedback will help shape the Public Health Plan and ensure it focuses on the most important health priorities for the community.

Find out more and complete the survey at engage.cottesloe.wa.gov.au/public-health-plan.

The surveys are open until Sunday, 1 March 2026 (11pm).
