The Town of Cottesloe has once again been recognised as a Gold Waterwise Council, reaffirming its strong commitment to sustainable water management and creating a more waterwise community.
This re-endorsement acknowledges the Town’s efforts over the 2024–2025 reporting year, highlighting a continued focus on protecting local waterways, enhancing biodiversity, and embedding sustainability into planning and operations.
Key initiatives contributing to this achievement include Coastcare activities aimed at reducing pollution and litter near waterways, as well as ongoing collaboration with Perth NRM to support environmental outcomes across the region.
The development of the Town’s Green Infrastructure Strategy is another important step forward, helping to guide urban greening efforts, support local biodiversity, and encourage community involvement in creating a more resilient environment.
This recognition reflects the Town’s leadership in environmental sustainability and its commitment to delivering meaningful, long-term outcomes for the community.
