Active Transport Working Group

The Active Transport Working Group provides advice and feedback to Council on ways to improve and encourage walking, cycling, and other forms of active travel within the Town of Cottesloe. Its purpose is to support the development of infrastructure and initiatives that make active transport safer, more accessible, and more appealing for people of all ages and abilities.
The Group considers matters such as shared paths, bike routes, pedestrian access, and community engagement around active transport. It also helps identify opportunities to reduce reliance on cars and promote healthier, more sustainable travel options.
Meetings are held as needed, and the Group includes elected members and community representatives who bring local knowledge and practical insights to the table.
