Request to Change Bin Services

If you would like to change your bin service, a form is required to be submitted.

 Please note that any additional bins/servicing or repairs can only be provided with the written consent from the property owner, strata manager or managing agent.

Waste Avoidance

General Waste Bin

This section includes information on your general household rubbish and details on how to dispose of items correctly. Information on how and when to put your general rubbish bin out can also be found in this section.

Recycle Bin

To assist residents with their personal recycling commitment council provides a fortnightly recycling collection (paper, cans, glass, cardboard, plastics) through the 240L yellow lid bin.

Greens Bin

Cottesloe residents are able to recycle their garden waste using the 240L Greens Bin with a lime green lid. This section includes details of what can be placed into the bin, what constitutes contamination and the collection frequency.

Commercial Waste

The Town of Cottesloe offers businesses within the Town a range of commercial waste services including 240L and 660L general waste bins and 240L recycling bins.

E-Waste & Mobile Phone Recycling

Cottesloe residents may dispose of E-waste, such as computers, at the West Metro Recycling Centre for free. The Town also encourages the recycling of household batteries and mobile phones. These can be disposed of in the bins located at the Town's reception desk.
