Heritage Protection

These documents provide information on Cottesloe properties that have cultural heritage significance. Places on the Heritage List are afforded statutory protection under Local Planning Scheme No. 3 and are categorised according to their level of cultural heritage significance. Places on the Heritage List may require Planning (Development) Approval from the Town, and in some instances the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage, prior to modification or demolition. The Local Heritage Survey is a record of places that are identified as having potential cultural heritage significance and may warrant inclusion on the Heritage List. Details of places currently on the Heritage List and Local Heritage Survey are below, in addition to supporting information required for planning applications affecting a heritage-listed place.
